If you are looking forward to enjoying a family holiday or a romantic break, then Watersedge Retreat quiet hamlet of Sandside won’t disappoint. Located within the Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty overlooking the sea. The floor to ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the River Kent Estuary and out towards the Lake District, you can watch the ever changing tides and take in some spectacular sunsets. The area boasts a network of footpaths and stunning scenery yet the beautiful Lake District National Park is not far away.

The holiday home is furnished with a nautical theme to take account of its location. Each room is beautifully decorated with the lounge and master bedroom enjoying spectacular views across the water with the Lake District hills in the background. The master bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobe, dressing table, bedside tables and a small sofa. The second bedroom is compact has twin beds with a small storage area and bedside tables. It is therefore suitable for 2 children or 1 adult The kitchen is equipped to a very high standard to ensure those who wish to cook have all utensils and crockery needed to prepare meals.

There is a shower but no bath in the shower room. Cleanliness is our top priority and our cleaner ensures the house is in perfect condition and fully cleaned throughout prior to guests arrival.

Parking is available directly outside the house however we would advise parking on the road to the rear of the house especially if arrival is late at night when it’s dark as there are no street lights on the small road leading to the property. It is not possible to turn a vehicle at the end of the road therefore cars have to be reversed out. Access to the property is down a sloped drive, those who are elderly or have mobility issues need to be aware of this. Access is via a key safe.

There is a small balcony accessible from the master bedroom. The views from both balconies are spectacular particularly when there is a wonderful sunset.

Foulshaw Moss on the other side of the estuary from Watersedge Retreat is worth visiting April - late September to try and see the Ospreys that nest there but keep your eye out for them as they will fly nearby.

Well behaved dogs welcome at an extra charge of £20
